For those of you following this around....I've been doing a few adventures here and there in NEW YORK one of my most favorite places to visit. In February my goals were to attend a fashion show in which the NEMO BLIZZARD wiped out most of what I was planning to do. However I did get to meet Kenley of Project Runway and that made up for it! hhaha!!! In May, I made my way to brooklyn to attend and support Kenley's PINK LADY line and had a blast taking pictures and having fun over there. It was my first time to really explore the Brooklyn area a bit more. (such a HUGE CITY!!!!) Plus, an added bonus of Montauk and Long Island. Crazee, i know! :)
Next up for me and NEW YORK CITY is the time I'm spending with the Dream Center. Fully funded by my supporters and friends I'm about to fly there for about a week to do some community work with them and my team from the local church I attend. Last year's success with the LA Dream Center definitely helped me to DREAM BIGGER for myself as well as seeing others dream big too. It has been a blessing to know more people and see more of people's hearts.
As an added bonus - I received word that some of my photography will be featured in a NYC exhibition literally STARTING when I get there for the Dream Center. I figured it could not have been planned any better...I'm amazed how God works things out...and all the struggles, pains and frustrations have been worth the wait of my blossoming and flourishing at this time in my life. I think what is most important for me as a person and artist is sharing my work and point of view, but really I want to inspire people to search and walk their OWN PATH instead of wishing and dreaming of "one day". Your day can be right now....I just encourage to start WALKING. There is so much more I could share i'm sure...but I wanted to stop, share this...and I have to keep walking foward too to prepare for what is ahead for me. Some of my busiest times are ahead of me and I'm praying to have strength and God's help through all of this. I can do nothing apart from HIM and his peace. If i didn't have PEACE about everything I would not do it.
(doesn't matter how AWESOME stuff is - no peace, no PIECE!) hahaahahah
Meanwhile, if you are traveling to NEW YORK CITY between July 25th and September 10th...please see the following INVITE to the show featuring a couple of my pieces. Please drop a line if you go!!!! I would love to hear what you thought! It looks like it will be super fun.
INVITE: The Story of the Creative
Enjoy the rest of your week....I'm winding down with lots of family time and on my way to the next adventure!!! Peace out.
Love Jen

Kenley launches her PINK LADY line!!!! - and SUNRISE in Montauk!!!
Oh what a day it was!!! We had a great time celebrating Kenley's launch of her new line for the PINK LADIES!!!! My friend Garret was attempting to parallel park as I jumped out of the car and walked around the block! There she was! ALL PINKED UP!!!! It was super fun to see the store Slapback and see all of her cute little clothing in there. If you are in NYC or traveling there, go stop in!!!! I made the journey to BROOKLYN and wore my lovely cake topper dress!!!!! She made clothing inspired by a lot of the styles and characters of the movie "Grease"...you have to see how carefully tailored they are! Everyone there was modeling them and I was able to get my own scarf and Kenley tshirt! :) ENJOY THE PICS!!!!
Also, earlier that morning I had a quick trip to Montauk for that "romantic" moment for myself...from the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Thanks to JOE for taking me out there - we stayed up all nite and caught sunrise. LOL!!!! I came back to Queens at about 820am....and overall Saturday was just amazing. I can't wait to get back there in August to finish what I started! WOOT!!!

Ya wanna send me to NYC? I can crash Kenley Collins' launch party!!!!
Yes yes yes! You remember her!!!! I crashed her birthday party in February during fashion week...it was amazing to hang out if only for a few hours...and say hi and just BE! There is something I appreciate about this passionate woman - I think simply put, it is her passion. :) She doesn't ever give up and she is just up there with some of the designers I enjoy! :)
She is having her PINK LADY launch party on May 4th....
and i'm dreaming BIG to go.................
Whatcha think? Are you a GREASE fan??? A movie buff like me?
I've been pink-haired for a while now...and I find it refreshing to be celebrated, if only indirectly through creativity of fashion and of people. :)
Herez the party flyer!

Dreams come true! YET AGAIN.
Long story short, I've been following Kenley's work for a very long time - since her debut on Project Runway...and also on the all-stars...she is just an overall great designer with a love for fashion and a passion for working hard and getting things done. I was very fortunate to catch a flyer on her page that said she would be performing with her band - but everything was cancelled because of the NEMO blizzard. However, she still showed up at the bar and partied and celebrated her birthday. :) She IS just that fabulous in person. It was adorable to meet her and spend some time chatting and laughing. I got to wear my "blended" upside down victorian mermaid dress to the bar...and feel like a girl for a while. It was good to be in good company - especially since her hair had turned pink recently....and it seemed fitting that my pink hair fit right in as well. :) AWW is all I can say.
Blessed.
Blessed.
