AND THE WINNER...........of the Dream Trip USA contest is????????????

I got quite a few entries to this contest and was pleasantly inspired by everyone who entered!  I believe you can ALL dream and then go DO that dream.   I have been inspired by others to dream big as well...and then go DO and LIVE the dreams....especially with travel.  I hope you all get to live your dream SOON.  Let's make it happen...and report back to me with pictures!!!!

So the WINNER of the 2015 Dream USA Trip is..............

Lola Lavender-Hardisty!!!

Her story struck me pretty much from the get-go.  I was intrigued, inspired and connected.  I really had to think long and hard about the whole of the entries...and had to pick the ONE winner...:)

Here is her entry...and you will see why this is one of MANY dreams that should happen!

My name is Lola. My maiden name is Lavender. My mother was Japanese. She passed away in 2003. She was a very strong, independent woman and lived life to the fullest. My father was also very strong and independent. He passed away in 2011. He was retired Military and retired Law Enforcement. My brother and I are blessed to have had wonderful parents. My brother is a Fire Fighter, like our grandfather was. My brother is the last one to carry on the Lavender name in our family. He and my sister in law have one daughter, who will one day marry and take her husband's name. It makes me sad to think that this branch of our family tree will one day be gone.

Although my Bucket List Trip would be to go back to Japan and walk the same ground where I used to live and visit the village where my mother grew up, my Dream Trip would be to stand in a giant field of Lavender and visit the farms in Sequim, Washington. There is a festival and driving tours in Sequim on July 17-20, 2015 called the Sequim Lavender Festival. How wonderful and spiritually, emotionally uplifting it would be to take in the colors and relaxing, sweet aroma of the Lavender! How beautiful it would be to have my photo made by you while we are experiencing a majestic sunset after experiencing the drive through the roads leading to the Lavender farms of Sequim, Washington.

Documentation and visual storytelling of myself experiencing this trip would be something that I could give my grandchildren, so they will always remember me.

I've attached a photo that I found online of a sunset over a Lavender field in Sequim.  I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity of the opportunity to win this fabulous trip.

Blessings,
Lola

An amazing DREAM indeed..................

Well, now it is time to make it happen!!!

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!
